A lot has happened...

For those that don't know, a lot has happened since I last posted back in March. First of all, my sister has returned from her four years that she spent in Montréal at McGill University. Second of all, I have a new job. It's not where I want it to be, but it's a new job nonetheless. I am a busser at a local resturant, full-time and during the day. I am no longer a dishwasher and at the same resturant that I had been at for over three years. It's been a change, working full-time and in a new environment and getting used to new ways of doing things and routines, but gradually, it's becoming old hat and routine. I am starting to get know various members of the staff. While the younger members of the staff are generally on during the night and weekends, I am getting to know the members of the staff that have been there for a number of years and it's weird being around them, especially since they know so much about the resturant and how things run.

In the meantime, I continue to apply for library jobs, in somewhat vain attempts to find that elusive library job. I just hope that something will come along that I will absoultely love. I know I am smart and all those good things, but when things are so frustrating, you begin to doubt yourself. The job will come and God will bless me in ways that I couldn't imagine at this point. In the meantime, I count my blessings that I do have a job, even though it's at the bottom of the pay scale (yes, I am making minimum wage, but what can I do?) and hopefully that can lead to something far greater.

Talk to you later and off to watch the rest of "Studio 60" (yes, I am a TV whore and PB kicked major ass tonight!)
