Update

Things have drastically changed since my last post. First off, I lost my bussing job at ABC Resturant. I suppose it wasn't the best choice in a job, but at the time I thought it would be. But we move on and try to do different things.

Secondly, my dad's dad passed away near the end of October. I didn't expect it to be as tough as it was, but the day of the funeral was harder than I expected.

Thirdly, went to Montreal to attend my sister's graduation from McGill. Had a wonderful time and the trip makes me want to spend a little more time in the city, at least once I have a job to pay my way there.

Fourthly, I have had several interviews in the last month and hopefully one of them pans out, especially since I am only waiting on word for two of them (one's in Vancouver and one's in Kamloops).

Anyways, God bless you and your families during this Christmas season and hope to hear from some of you in the near future. I am probably speaking to myself anyways in these entries. Oh well...

A lot has happened...

For those that don't know, a lot has happened since I last posted back in March. First of all, my sister has returned from her four years that she spent in Montréal at McGill University. Second of all, I have a new job. It's not where I want it to be, but it's a new job nonetheless. I am a busser at a local resturant, full-time and during the day. I am no longer a dishwasher and at the same resturant that I had been at for over three years. It's been a change, working full-time and in a new environment and getting used to new ways of doing things and routines, but gradually, it's becoming old hat and routine. I am starting to get know various members of the staff. While the younger members of the staff are generally on during the night and weekends, I am getting to know the members of the staff that have been there for a number of years and it's weird being around them, especially since they know so much about the resturant and how things run.

In the meantime, I continue to apply for library jobs, in somewhat vain attempts to find that elusive library job. I just hope that something will come along that I will absoultely love. I know I am smart and all those good things, but when things are so frustrating, you begin to doubt yourself. The job will come and God will bless me in ways that I couldn't imagine at this point. In the meantime, I count my blessings that I do have a job, even though it's at the bottom of the pay scale (yes, I am making minimum wage, but what can I do?) and hopefully that can lead to something far greater.

Talk to you later and off to watch the rest of "Studio 60" (yes, I am a TV whore and PB kicked major ass tonight!)

I don't know why when people say that they are going to be somewhere, or even try to be there, don't show up!! ML said she would probably come by tonight at around 8 pm my time and she didn't. I miss talking to her and bunch of the others (not that anybody is going to care cause I am the only one who is going to see this, at least I think so) and I understand why. But when somebody said that they were going to be around, they better be. I really would like to chat with her again; seems I rarely ever get to talk to except through the occasional pm and email message that I send her way. Oh well, hopefully she and a bunch of the others will be able to talk soon. And I hope to be employed sometime soon. Later

So I just wanted to say hi. I really don't know what exactly post on this blog, as Live Journal as become my primary blog. This might just become a place where I can vent without anybody knowing about how I am exactly feeling or it might just become the place where I put up my stories from now on. I honestly don't know.
